DONE DEAL: Arsenal Complete The Signing Of Highly-Rated Defensive Midfielder


Arsenal have officially announced the signing of 17-year old midfielder Krystian Bielik from Legia Warsaw. The Poland international signed a long-term contract with the Londoners on Wednesday morning after he passed a medical last Friday.

Krystian Bielik who had his senior debut for Legia Warsaw in August can play as a holding midfielder and also as a centre defender. His versatility will give him a chance to really thrive at Arsenal. Arsene Wenger was able to beat other clubs like Hamburg who were interested in signing the youngster. The transfer fee for Bielik is believed to be around £2.5million, which looks good for the signing of such a talented player.


Speaking on the purchase of the Polish midfielder, Wenger said: "He's a defensive midfielder, he is 6ft 2ins, he has a good energy level and a good technical level. Is £2m a lot of money? It is less than that but yes, it is a lot of money for a player if he doesn't succeed. If he does succeed, it's cheap.

"Of course, it's a gamble. But on what we saw, it's a gamble worth taking."

Bielik is a player who is highly talented and will thrive at any club who knows how to make good use of him. All the members of the Arsenal family are pleased to welcome him to the body, hoping he makes good progress like other youngsters who have joined the club in the past.

He said that Buhari was head and shoulder above Jonathan. He said, “Putting Buhari and President Jonathan side by side is like putting light and darkness together. Buhari is head and shoulder above Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, who is occupying the nation’s highest seat. “It is Nigerians who will determine who will win the 2015 election, but we know that in a free and fair election, Jonathan does not stand a chance against Buhari. Let him say whatever he wants. “The PDP primaries could be manipulated for the President. We have said it that the PDP will be in the opposition as from 2015.”
