P-Square releases cartoon series, the Alingos

Peter Okoye just released these photos on his instagram page. Says The Alingos cartoon series, which is centred around the singing brothers, will hit on our TV screens soon. Peter said they have been working on the project for five years but didn't give much details.

Boko Haram displaced over 500 persons

T  he National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) said on Thursday that over 500 indigenes of Damboa in Borno state had fled to Gombe following insurgents attack in the area. This was contained in a statement signed by Sani Datti, NEMA’s Senior Information Officer, in Abuja. The statement said NEMA in collaboration with the Gombe State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) registered over 500 people taking shelter in the area. According to the statement, the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), who have being stranded in motor parks and expressway in Gombe, are evacuated and registered in camps provided by the agency. It stated that the Assistant Director, Relief and Rehabilitation, Mr Saidu Minin, who represented NEMA’s Director-General, Muhammad Sani-Sidi, in a visit to the camp, urged the IDPs to be law abiding.
